Selection
How do we select charities?
We want to offer our donors charities whose work is tangible and lasting. Each application is reviewed against the following criteria.
A cause of general interest
Your charity’s work fits into a cause of general interest and falls into one of our categories.
A commitment to sustainable development
Your charity contributes to one or more of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): fighting poverty and inequality, education, health, climate, biodiversity…
Transparency and reliability
We talk with the charity’s leaders to understand its missions, how it operates and how donations will be used.

The size of your charity
Small local organisation or large NGO: we set no threshold for budget, staff or volunteers.
Your location
Your charity does not need to be based in France, but must be domiciled in France. ANAK-Tnk, which supports street children in the Philippines, is one of our partner charities.

Your charity is added to the Kallpa Pay catalogue and you get access to our dedicated charity platform.

We announce your arrival to all our donors, who can then add your charity to their donation Mix.

Frequently asked questions from charities
How much does it cost for a charity to join Kallpa Pay?
Nothing. There is no sign-up fee and no subscription. Kallpa Pay only takes a small percentage of the donations made to your charity.
Does my charity need to be based in France?
No. We welcome charities working in France and abroad, as long as they meet our cause and sustainable development criteria.
Is there a minimum size to apply?
No. Size is not a criterion: small and large charities alike can join Kallpa Pay.
How does the selection work?
Once you get in touch, we arrange an interview with your charity’s appointed representatives, by video call or in person. This conversation lets us check that your cause fits our categories and our sustainable development criteria.
When does my charity receive donations?
Your donors’ donations are transferred on the last day of each month, minus a small percentage of collection fees.
How can I track the donations received?
Your dedicated charity platform details the donations received and lets you manage your account. We also provide all your invoices.
Who handles donors’ tax receipts?
Kallpa Pay issues tax receipts for eligible donations. Your donors find them directly in the “Account” tab of the app.
